Mobile phoneBelieve or not YOU have the power to determine your Zaarly marketplace experience. Unlike Craigslist and eBay, Zaarly allows you to buy and sell, and to have power during the Zaarly encounter.
For example, when you post with Craigslist or eBay you provide a product that you want to sell. If someone wants to buy it, they contact you. It’s a one-way, static relationship.
However, with Zaarly, the encounter is dynamic and electric. Both buyers and sellers can post their needs, which allows for a freer-flowing market. Plus, another unique Zaarly characteristic is that it allows for more than product sales–community members can post and request services such as asking someone to dog sit or pick up your dry cleaning….all for a price.
According to CEO Bo Fishback, 43% of the listed items are for “things” such as electronics, clothing or rare books. 40% are request for services (this is where the dog sitter request comes into play) and 17% for “access to experiences” like sports or concert tickets.
In addition to its interactive perspective, the Zaarly marketplace is social. Link Zaarly to Facebook or Twitter and you can help your friends find what they need or provide a service.
